Jonathan Zorn - audio Rachel Thompson - visions Three versions--short, medium, and long--of a performance environment for digital video, analog synthesizer, and amplified mirror paper. With paper in hand, Rachel manipulates her reflection while the sounds of the paper’s movement are amplified and transformed by Jonathan’s synthesizer. Each new bend and twist of the mirrored surface alters the reflection, carrying the performers’ body through a series of reconfigurations and abstractions, as the cracks and pops morph into storms of distortion and resonant drones.
